Double sided shaped table runner

The front was pieced cottton/poly fabrics and the back was pieced silk fabric. The runner was 106" long and 22" wide in the center and 28" at the widest point on each end. The tassel fringe on each end was hand sewn on.

Silk side view of the end.

Another close-up of the end.

Close-up of the center piecing on the front. There was a small yellow 1/4" flange placed between the two fabrics and a rope cord was placed on the edges.

Table Runner

I made this pieced table runner for a client. She gave me a small piece of fabric and fringe that was left over from her window treatment. I found a couple of fabrics and trims that coordinated and this is what I came up with.

I designed it so that it has two sides. She can flip it over for a different look.

What do you think?

Love this!

Such a great idea making it double sided so that it can be turned over for a different look or changed with the season. Thinking about making one for me. :)

Side one.....

Side Two....

I am also making kidney pillows for the chiars at the head of the table. I will post those later.
